The management of Eko Electricity Distribution Company, EKEDC has debunked claims that it cut off the power supply to Lekki Toll Gate on Tuesday as peaceful protesters were shot at. Mr Godwin Idemudia, EKEDC General Manager, Corporate Communications, Mr Godwin Idemudia, made this known in a statement issued on Wednesday in Lagos. Recall that youths protesting against police brutality came under gunfire while the light within the vicinity was turned off. Idemudia said the Electricity Distribution Company was saddened by the gruesome events that happened at the Lekki Toll Gate.
