We are aware of the recent bloody events going on in Southern part of Nigeria and FCT . People are dying and more will still die . We all owe to humanity and posterity to avoid more escalation of this issue . The tribal card is really playing out and it is going to work out if we don't check it . Let this Nairaland not be the medium through which that aim is achieved. 1966 history is tending to repeat itself . Let's all mellow down on the reportage of the carnage going on in the country. The more we report the angrier people become . We can stop this violence . Let's owe it to humanity to remove diction like Igbo ,Hausa ,Yoruba ,Ipob, Arewa,Oduduwa ,Afonja etc from this forum for now . We can do this please. Cc lalasticlala ,Mynd44, Seun .

Supported. The deed is already done, Lessons Learned and we have strongly sent a message to our leaders. I hope they listen otherwise, next protest will be bloody if things remain unchanged. #EndSARS prostest is just a message.

We need to restore sanity to our country.

Please lets embrace peace and move on.

Op,you are right but i hope they listen. The mods are fucking up big time.Imagine the chain of chaotic topics that are streaming on the frontpage of Nairaland, despite the fact that there are interesting topics in other categories.
They could have avoided keeping people on edge and fueling agitations by allowing a considerable level of hiatus between this obviously distasteful political topics and by chipping in topics from other sections of the forum such as romance that would make people less tense.
Op,i studied child psychology and i know what am talking about.
Or do you think that biafra ad banner that has been lingering at the frontpage top for over a week now is mere coincidental?
It's a subtle reminder for some people not to forget...
Let me just drop my pen here for peace to reign.

In 1966, Soldiers from the East ,west and North planned the revolution..After a while the revolution was tagged to be from a section of the country. History is about to repeat itself unless we do something.

The op is right. I will advise seun to close down the politics section for now.

If it turns out tribal war, NL will be prosecuted afterwards, you can't escape that. Dont let your sweat be used to fuel tribal war at this time.

Politicians are desperate to make it tribal war so that the attention is removed fron them and feel safer
