The End SARS protests which started peacefully about two weeks ago in the country has taken a new dimension. This is because the protests has been hijacked, bastardized and has become a tool for human right violation.

In Abuja, yesterday (19/10/20) End SARS protesters blocked access roads, denying lawful citizens their freedom to movement and livelihood, around Apo Mechanic Village in Guru District, the unfortunate situation led to wanton destruction of properties, injuries and untimely loss of lives of innocent persons.

According to a survivor, a mechanic, Babatunde Abolaji, that he was fixing a customer's car when unknown persons started beating him, burnt down the car he was fixing along with other vehicles in the area.

This is barbaric, the 5 point demands of the protesters has been met, President Buhari has addressed the situation in his speech, SARS had been dismantled, judicial panel of inquiries has equally been set up by both the Federal and other State Governments to look into allegation of Police highhandedness especially those of former SARS members, where punishment is expected to be awarded. Already over 37 former SARS have been sacked and trust fund is being set up to compensate victims of Police brutally.

With these action sincerely being undertaken by the Government, it is time for protesters to withdraw for the streets and allow other law abiding citizen to continue their daily struggle without any fear.

Friends, Celebrities, Parents, Guardians, Religious, Traditional leaders and other stakeholders should talk to the protesters to discontinue the protests which is now leading to a catastrophic end across the country.

Hmm, na wa oo, I just realised a majority of the people that recently joined the #EndSARS protest are illiterate and are clueless as to why we are actually protesting. The protest is just another event, party to them, a way to commit atrocities and nothing more. We need to STOP these MADNESS and lets educate the people at the grassroots!!!!
