BLOOD PRESSURE is the pressure of blood pushing against the walls of your arteries. Arteries moves blood from the heart to other parts of the body. One thing about blood pressure is that, it normally rises and falls throughout the day.

If the measurement reads 120 systolic and 80 diastolic, you would say, "120 over 80", or write, "120/80 mm Hg. Again, a normal blood pressure is less than 120/80 mm Hg.

According to World Health Organization (WHO) in 2015, 1 in 4 men, and 1 in 5 women had hypertension. Fewer than 1 in 5 with hypertension have serious medical condition under control.
