Nt sure bout that o, bt i think reg shud start wen u resume cos u dnt knw ur courses yet and u wnt wana regista wt u dnt knw, as 4 hostel it is first come first serve, gals hv 3 hostel bt bois 1, it is very hard to gt a bois hostel, if u hv conection d beta, cos ur money may be trapped in d etranzact a/c.(eg u reserve it, go nd pay d 28k, bt on getting bk online oda pple hv paid nd d space finished, oyo lowa). I stay outside skul , self contain 50-70, single rum 12k to 24k bt in single rum u pay 2 years rent o

@ics guys, please lets have a little patience,i went to skool yesterday and i met with one of the officials at the faculty,he told me that only 12 studends have bn admitted presently,but the second list will be the main focus for ics students,because first list was based on merit lvl, but the list will be out today or 2mao God willing, lets pray it will favour us all (amen)

ur level adviser in skul wil gv u ur courses, so until u resume dnt try to register any course as u may regret it. @toafeek dat is a small tin, jst go to okeodo in tanke walk around nd u wil see dm

as 4 d issue of ICS dept:If am ryt, I dont fink more than 30 students were admitted last year. Though d dept is less competitive

@ya'll ICS applicant bou 40 were admitted last year, buh i find they should admit up to 70 dis time around due to instances.

JAMB REGISTRAR ALLAYS FEARS OF ADMISSION SEEKERS

Admissions into Higher Institutions of Learning in the country for the 2011/2012 academic year will still be on untill November 25, 2011.

The Registrar and Chief Executive of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Dibu Ojerinde allays the fears of admission seekers into higher institutions of learning in the country today, when he featured on UNILORIN 89.3FM, the official Radio Station of University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

Professor Ojerinde debunked newspapers reports that only 60,000 of qualified 498,000 candidates will be admitted this year. He said no fewer than 500,000 candidates will be offered admission into Monotechnics/Polytechnics, Universities & Colleges of education.

The Chief Executive of JAMB also said that there are six phases of admission exercise and that so far only the first phase has been completed and names of successful candidates posted on the internet, he said the second phase which is on-going in the University of Ilorin, Ilorin will be out on the internet next week.

Professor Ojerinde also promised that the remaining phases of admission exercise will not take too long and that by November 25, 2011 admission for the year will be closed.
