"You Can Now Write Petition Against SARS, Lekki Shooting" - Sanwo-Olu To Lagosians

Lagos state residents who have been abused by the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) can now write petition against the police unit.

Also, Lagosions can now claim compensation from the government if their complaints warrant it. To achieve this, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has set up Judicial Panel to investigate brutality and rights violation by the officers.

IgbereTV reports that the governor has mandated the panel headed by Justice Doris Okuwobi to invetigate all of the issues that happened at the Toll Plaza. Going further, he revealed that the panel will start sitting on Monday, October 26, at the Lagos Court of Arbitration International Centre in Lekki.

Going further, the governor said the panel will sit for six months.

Lagos State Governor is the most emotionally mature political leader we have currently. God bless his effort.

If you noticed, he took full responsibility of events that took place when others (youths inclusive) were blaming everyone except themselves.

This is the coupe de grace to the massacre narrative.

Buhari has not addressed the issue and instead challenged foreign governments to seek clarification. Meaning he is confident there is something that is not visible to the masses which he doesn't care to reveal for now.

Gov. Same Olu has said no one died and has been doing a lot of running around d and apology without acknowledging that anyone was shot at Lekki specifically.

Now he is calling for petitions.

The fact is that by the time no one comes forward with credible evidence, that is where the narrative ends. But Sanwo Olu is too smart to let Nigerians make him the enemy so he will simply allow you all to kill the narrative by yourselves.

I will always have 100% respect and love for a man who makes mistakes, and acknowledges his mistakes and works hard or makes honest attempts to rectify or fix the consequences of those mistakes. Sometimes our greatest mistakes are INACTIONS. But the actions taken these past 48 hours has proven that Sanwo Olu is a real man. We may not agree on every issue or LASG policy but I have 100% respect and love for Governor Sanwo Olu. His heart is clean. May God continue to bless your Excellency, Sanwo Olu, Executive Governor of Lagos State with more wisdom, health and positive ideas to move Lagos forward and greater, and may God continue to have mercy on me.
