Big Brother Naija star Mike Edwards has recounted how his older brother Matthew Edwards died in Nigeria of sickle cell anaemia at age 10, Igbere TV reports.

The father of one in an Instagram post on Saturday shared a picture of his younger self with his siblings.

“My older brother Matthew lost his life during a sickle cell crisis in Nigeria when he was 10 years old, to think if he would have been in a country with better health care support that his life would be saved today is heartbreaking,” Mike wrote.

The Big Brother Naija season 4 first runner-up added: “The fight to End SARS is our cry for help after years of corruption and bad governance.”

Mike has been a part of the #EndSARS campaign and led a protest alongside Wizkid in London.

But Mike, till today people still die from smaller sicknesses like malaria, typhoid fever....etc
The nation has not gotten better from years back when your brother died, it gets worse instead...
