universities all over the world are funded from grants from bigger companies who pay for research, cut of funding from the universities and you will compel universities to start business startups and incubation centres that will generate revenue

Are you comparing their naira to the dollars of their counterparts worldwide.

Soup sweet na money kill am.

The N30bn ASUU is fighting for is merely $83m and that's for the whole nation.

Is that how standard is improved?

Even south africa here has an education budget of $24bn

No mater the education budget you get, a lecturer can inspire a bunch of over 100 students and inspire them to start the next facebook or a new product idea or design, univerisites are citadels of learning, take the computer science industry, which Nigerian university lecturer has taken it upon themselves to learn the new programming courses and create remarkable web applications , instead they recycle old curriculum and old textbooks so they can get paid a salary
