Yesterday from Gwagwalada in abuja all the way to okene in kogi state, i couldn't see a single police officer. You only see 1 military checkpoint, 1 naval checkpoint and 3 vigilante checkpoints. Government should encourage the police to regain control of the various parts of the country before long.

Where they in control before. Do you know the rate of Kidnapping on Abuja to Kogi road. Abuja to Kaduna road. How many bank robbery have they succccesful countered. You will go to police out stations and not meet any on duty. Neighbourhoods pay Vigilante groups for security. I can go on and on. They've been useless before now

police presence on Lagos road is mainly for extortion and not for security, you will hardly see police on patrol interface on francas. LASTMA are needed for traffic control on the congested Lagos road, I hope they will thread with caution this time. FRSC and VIO are the most useless on Lagos road! there presence is making life unbearable for road users......

The roads are saner without them as we have experienced in the last few days, these hoodlums issues has been highly political and mostly as a result of anger from several areas.
In the end the people I fear are the policemen, who might try to justify their absence on the streets with planned and sponsored thefts and burglars.
