It's always easy to catch common citizens who steal something.

If you are gallant enough. Catch the thieves parading as leaders.

I like the way the General spoke. I join him in appealing to the thieves going about looking for what to loot to please stop. Enough is enough.

My brother, we should stop blaming hunger.. That's a false accusation and assassination of character(of hunger).. Rather, we should channel our blame to lack of discipline, moral decadence, zero principle, laziness and lack of creativity on the part of most Nigerians. These vices are the major causes of poor leadership, corruption, extreme poverty, wickedness, greed, etc.

An average Nigerian will loot even if he/she is not hungry.. All they need is opportunity. They will blame their corrupt politicians/leaders.. Lead protests.. But give them power and they'll do far worse. Which means our leaders are not the problem, but we the people (collectively, including our leaders). Government is merely made from the people. If the majority of the people are corrupt, so are their leaders..

But God will help us.
. Will you shut up

I have observed a lot of people hailing looters on this forum. Guys, it is so wrong - very wrong! And that includes Palliative Looters who believe it is theirs by the way, so technically, they are not looting (stealing). Of course, they are looting, and as evil as the SARS Officers being prosecuted.

It would have made sense if they all gathered with Placards, protesting in front of the Warehouses the Palliatives were stored, and refusing to leave until each state government opens it and disburse it to them.

Because they were hailed last week, it encouraged them to take the looting to people's homes and business locations. Of recent, they used a machete on a Nollywood Actor after stealing his money and other valuable items. If allowed to continue or massively supported, it might not be long before they evolve to killing people in order to successfully loot them of their possessions. And if they attain this level in "lootacracy", what is the difference between the Looters and the SARS Officers we are protesting against? undecided
Baba even in America, ordinary blackout dem dey loot.

They should leave them right? You have the guts to call them cowards smh.Do you know how many soldiers die every day in the NE? Do you know the reason you sleep easy at night with no fear of BH is because a soldier or two(probably more) sacrifices his life every other week so you can come on Nairaland and talk shit.

You just went round in circles, and failed to bring forth anything reasonable!!!

Change can never begin from citizens!!! A collective mass of people can't change collectively...

True change, true national change must begin from the top: National, religious, academic, etc.

You as you youth why not take up the challenge and join the Nigerian army. With the anger inside you, you can quickly find your way to Maiduguri as a brave man to defend your father land.

SilverNorGold:
cheesy.. You've done a really great job, patriotic and gallant NA! It's now time for the criminals to face the full wrath of the law!

But the problem is that majority of Nigerians are criminals. Even the so called leaders are first Nigerians before they became leaders. When we are not in power, we'll criticize and condemn our corrupt leaders only to do worse when we get there. Too bad. I really hope we change. I really do hope we emulate our few exemplary compatriots.
