I think u should be ashamed for making such a general and unfounded statement. Lets even say that women dont participate in politics talk, how does that make them dull? This kind of statement in my opinion can not have come from a smart individual.

Are u insinuating that it takes participating in discussions of the political persuasion to make one intelligent?
  Pls tell me u're better than this.

 Trust N'land ladies not to gratify your quest for much needed attention.

I went through your last 32 posts and only 4 out of 32 are in politics of which 2 are in this threat, one of which you asked if Nigeria is the lion of Africa or deer? and the 4th one has no meaning. Now tell me how active are you in politics with these data of yours?

@Topic

When you have people like Bolarge from the hinterlands of Ibadan, who still thinks women's place should remain in the Kitchen or on rafia "mat"! grin As soon as he does not like what he reads, he lashes out in intimidation!  I say it is your grandmother you will intimidate not me! grin Do I sound like one of your village babes? Rubbish!

Then you have the "Mckrens"of this web page who think that if you are assertive as a female, you have a "penis" and your sexuality is gone to the dogs!  Campaigning for feminine softness!  Like this is a place to get a husband or wife!  Where were you when your mates were getting married? shocked Una go kill person with laff oh!  Well, if you want to see interesting gals, go to Family, Romance, Sexuality and Religion topics on this web page! Since that is where you will rather have "your" future wives! Only to be heard not seen! What a bunch of local chauvinists!  Thank God I don marry!  Young ladies out there still single----I sorry for una! grin

 Said like a complete gentleman. I appreciate that. Most peeps would still be trying to justify their stand however warped.

To all Nairaland ladies: Please forgive him O! He has apologised. grin

@nurexg

from analysing your choice of words like "politics talks" and you general attitude and approach to issue, I take it you're not a smart fellow.

I would also want to ask you how you came about know from the posts you read that there are no ladies posting on political issues. Are they supposed to introduce themselves saying "hi look at me, I'm a lady, I'm not dull and so I want to post on political matters"? Is that what you were expecting to see?

Better retract back into whatever pit you're trying to crawl out from go and continue posting about home videos and jogodo music, and let more intelligent minds help you with your share of political thinking.

Re: Why Do Nigerian Girls don't Participate In Politics Talks? by Nobody: 1:01pm On Jun 26, 2007
Guys is not like that,
is not that iam not smart or good in handling argument, but i have some policies which i have applied one and i have already start analising it from the post that is been made. one of the policy i applied here is simple. If realy you are very smart you will be using it. Just use surrander as a weapon of power and if trully you knows politics, it is all about power.
Re: Why Do Nigerian Girls don't Participate In Politics Talks? by denex: 1:04pm On Jun 26, 2007
Oops! Sorry I didn't see the apology early enough. But all the same, I still don't think this is the place for nurexng.
Re: Why Do Nigerian Girls don't Participate In Politics Talks? by Ikomi(m): 2:03pm On Jun 26, 2007
Why most ladies, and not all do not participate in politics is that it is very impossible most times to handle two crossroads.

When most of them have a big puzzle in the form of boyfriends/husbands they have not fully handled/understood, why jump into the game of men. If u see where am coming from.

But the ladies who have fully solved the first puzzle or are not intrested in the first puzzle move to the next one, which could range from politics to bizness.

But to say ladies are not smart is very untrue, I think they just have priorities.

And most of them want to cross the first hurdle. lol. grin

This Nairaland people will kill me. lol cheesy
Re: Why Do Nigerian Girls don't Participate In Politics Talks? by MILITIA(f): 2:17pm On Jun 26, 2007
@Ikomi
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!  grin  We will not kill you because you have hit the nail on the head!  Most are still looking for--------- "Mr. Right"!  So they have to be in the "romance and sexuality or family " topics!  When thy have crossed that bridge, then they can come over here to mingle!  I hear you bro! grin

Why
Re: Why Do Nigerian Girls don't Participate In Politics Talks? by BlackMamba(m): 8:18pm On Jun 26, 2007
I'm not sure how many of us here are actively participating in politics. We are pretty much a bunch of rabble rousers having fun talking politics. Those actively in politics are in the corridors of power perpetuating corruption while their cronies lick their ass and wait for their turn to lick the proverbial pear.

It is dull of u to expect support when u duplicate topics.  shocked
Besides, ur topic as u put it down makes no sense
Re: Why Do Nigerian Girls don't Participate In Politics Talks? by Nobody: 11:18am On Jun 27, 2007
@angel101,

yeah you can say what ever you want, i maigth be dull but not silly okay.

but what i know for my analysis, is that you girls are quite in the issue of politics.

and from the issue of duplicating

topic, please can you tell me, were it is  catigorically stated for girls only.

and if you can not then i guess you are refering to your self.
Re: Why Do Nigerian Girls don't Participate In Politics Talks? by angel101(f): 2:26pm On Jun 27, 2007
why should it be stated for girls only? believe it or not, a lot of people on this forum are serious minded and as such do not need to put up silly gimmicks to make their topics seem interesting. I'm sure u know there is already a topic regarding the sale of the refineries so it was silly of u to duplicate the post and add 'for girsl only'. worse is even ur attempt to justify it.
