My experience with RRS isn't great, one was sitting there in his car and didn't do anything after one area boy held us at gunpoint.

Lol ! Reminds me of one policeman in The Town movie.

The situation of traffic that i witnessed today from ikeja along to oshodi was rare and unencouraging. Vehicles were moving in either ways without obeying traffic rules, okada riders returned back in mass on the highway, Danfo buses were trespassing on the BRT lanes, several vehicles were hitting others to exacerbate the traffic condition and their was traffic pile from ladipo bus stop towards oshodi bridge.
I will advise lagos state government to form security unit similar to what late Gov. Abiola Ajimobi did in Oyo state in his time named Operation Burst. It comprises of all arms of uniform officers working together. Army+Police+Civil defence+ Mobile police to work together as a unit to maintain law and order untill police return fully back to work. It will also be kind of our government to augment the salaries and allowances of new police that we will see in future. Let them renovate their barracks and make them leave a decent life. This may likely abolish their habit of collecting bribe from motorists. A decent policing is a bride of the society.

IGP should be called upon to implement the "no work no pay" rule on any officer that fails to show up at work.

We asked them to endsars and police brutality not to stop work.

Some people need to be made scapegoats.
Just listen to yourself . Go and drag them out now , after now people will be shouting them have done this and that .

As it stands now, the Nigeria police is on strike

They can't come back because they are scared of their lives, no offices to operate from, no equipment, vehicles and weapons to use in fighting crime

The police still remains prime targets for the hoodlums grin

Who wan die, they are also human that has to life and not to be killed in line of duty by same people they are meant to protect.

The next card they will play is the police executing high profile armed robbery across the state so the citizens will beg them to come back.
It's a catch 22 situation the Nigerian state have found itself.

Confused people with no projection mind. Better call IGP Falz, DIG Davido, AIG DJ Switch to come and secure ur state. After killing, harassing them and putting their hardwork invain with emotional depression now u're asking them to give u protection. Police are parents, siblings, relatives to us and above all most of the officers are from their clan. No matter how bad police has been they didn't deserve anything more than the initial demands approved by FG!

Nigerians have ended police. They should go and do the police work and protect themselves. They should also leave the military out of it because they ain't doing again. All those who hailed the escaped prisoners should go meet them to do the police work. The youths can also protect themselves as they have been armed. The annoying thing is that some ignorant youths don't even know what they were protesting.
so because they protect the city they should be free to do what ever they like right? The way some of you reason...smh

I don't support oppression on the streets but i think it's better to lose. N200 to the police than thousands and your leg and limb to the armed robber.

The Police is a necessary evil.
Nigerians should learn to live with that till the day they're sufficiently disciplined.

No. I don't support their actions. Through the protest, SARS was disbanded. It was not enough for our erring youths, they went ahead to attack their stations and to cart away their weapon. I hope u are comfortable with that right? We will see the result of our actions one day
