On Tuesday, October 27, 2020, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, fielded some questions on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily programme.

During the interview, Bello goofily lied that contrary to news reports making rounds, there’s no such thing like looted COVID-19 palliatives warehouse in Kogi.

The governor said his government had been handing out palliatives to Kogi residents before COVID-19, adding that he would not be in power for palliatives meant for the poor to now be hoarded in a warehouse
