IMPORTANT QUESTIONS FOR THE MINISTER OF POWER

1. How much of that 13,000MW is being successfully TRANSMITTED and DISTRIBUTED to Nigerians alone?

2. For how long will that result be sustained?

3. What has been done or is being done to ensure increased generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in Nigeria?

4. What revolutionary power projects are being explored in the power sector to cater for anticipated population explosion vis-a-vis increased demand as industrialization booms?

4. What are the long term goals for the power sector in Nigeria for Nigerians (not the neighbouring countries to whom we've been rather more generous in the aspect)?

Before you criticise, read carefully what the man said.
Capacity being the keyword there.

More like saying this is what we can produce but it does not mean we are actually producing it. Even if we do produce it, looking at our transmission and distribution capacity, you can see clearly where the problem is.

This statement by the Minister of Power may be factually correct but it is the typical speaking without saying anything. The average Nigerian does not care about generation capacity, the average Nigerian cares about available power within his household and business.

This is an information age, The facts are out there Mr Minister.. at Nov 18th 2014 Nigeria's peak generation was 5115MW. You can't come out and lie that it was 4500MW in 2015.

Nigeria is the only country in the world that supplies electricity to several countries but cannot supply same to it's citizens. Has billions of barrels of crude oil but our wicked leaders have ensured the citizens will never benefit a dime from same.
