Governor Wike Should Please Withdraw Soldiers From Oyigbo by TruthinAction: 4:06pm On Oct 30, 2020 |
The recent deployment of soldiers to Oyigbo is bringing untold hardship and a lot people have been dehumanized by Soldiers. First, soldiers are not detectives that are trained to fish out criminals. Second, not everyone residing in Oyigbo are IPOB members. Even the IPOB members may not be up to 5% of the population there. So, while will the entire community suffer for the sins of very few people. I believe those who committed the crimes should have find their way out of the community. Governor Wike should please withdraw Soldiers from Oyigbo and find other ways of fishing out the criminals. The rights of so many innocent people living there are being violated. He should have a human heart and do the needful to bring back life to normalcy in Oyigbo. All that the soldiers understand is kill. The Lekki Tollgate massacre is enough lesson for us to learn. Wike should not include himself on the list of leaders that killed his people. |

It's been over a week since the nigerian army laid siege to oyigbo town. The harassment and recorded cases of killings are numerous to count. They have been going to people's homes and killing indiscriminately, burning people's houses while blocking exits. With the 24hrs curfew, all roads going In and out of oyigbo has bn blocked and residents encircled. Some they kill at close range and so many have died in their homes from stray bullets. We have helicopters flying over our roofs in a way it can mean a declaration of genocide on oyigbo residents. The federal government and Rivers State Government have declared war on the people of oyigbo and the press are not doing much or should I say turning a blind eye. I am writing this post to draw the attention of nigerians and the world on the ongoing genocide on the residents of Oyigbo in Rivers State by the nigerian army. 2 Likes |

TruthinAction: Y'all should call on Kanu to stop making misguided statement. He should withdraw his statement calling for Wike's head. Do u want Wike to sit and watch while IPOB miscreants cut off his head? 2 Likes |

Governor wike is only trying to please the Fulani controlled federal government. The nigerian army are telling everyone they are unleashing mayhem on people of oyigbo at the request of governor woke. This curfew already has a political undertone, the same wike that claims he has no control over the military is claiming to be the one still keeping the military in oyigbo. He knows they are killing people everyday n every hour buh wouldn't want to offend his Fulani masters due to his personal political ambitions. Let him enjoy his power though nothing lasts forever. I once respected and admired this man wike, not knowing he is such a tyrant |

Charmingrascal: So, everyone including innocent children should suffer for the sin of one man. Besides, there are people of other tribes in Oyigbo. Why should Kanu be a threat to him? |

Colonelswitz101: We don't have journalist in Nigeria who can get a first hand information of events like this. They rely on a third party information. They no wan die. |

When it's convenient for them, they'll claim not to have powers over police and military deployment as Governors. But when they need them to do their biddings, they sure know how to use them. |
