Nice gesture. But our leaders are really heartless. If you investigate properly, you will notice that the poor road condition was a cause or contributory factor to the accident. But as usual, the leaders will never speak towards that angle while paying condolence visits.

From statistics and as a safety specialist, 90% of road accidents in Nigeria are actually preventable. Either on the part of the government or the individuals/road users

Oga please don't tell lies here because this place is not as faceless as you thought... I served in this particular local government,the school I served with (Rosary high School) is a stone throw from this particular school, I was so sad when I heard about the accident because I know the school very well. Ike is loved by all in Awgu, Oji river and Aninri, you need to check most of the smooth and good roads in that local government, he did them... Most of the schools and Catholic church in that area got their buses from him.
Yes I expected more from him considering the years he has spent in the senate but the man don try for him people....
Don't compare him with Tinubu who has turned Lagos State to his personal property, fixing his family members and those only loyal to him in every sector that brings in money in Lagos...
Lagos is practically sole property for now..

Note: I was born and brought up in Lagos and still live there now.

There were some who did, in my opinion anyway.

I think Aunty Dora (rest her gentle soul) did genuinely have our interest at heart.

I believe Ken Nnamani did too (dont know if he still does).

Nuhu Ribadu I also have faith in.

Then, maybe, Zulum.

The rest, I'm not so sure.

I am from Afikpo North in Ebonyi State, i do pass through his senatorial district when going to my home, to be candid Ekweremadu is the best senator from the south east, if all the senators from the South east could be half as committed as he is to the development of his consistency the south east would have a mini London.

students (200L to Final year from any institution in Nigeria) from his constituency benefited from the annual disbursement of 40k... I got mine when I was still in school. 3 times...
Widows and widowers were not left out.
Adult education is still free for every interested person.
The roads and bridges are nothing to mention because that's why we voted him.
Ask around before you say thrash.
