Following the reversal of the english premier league substitute rule back to three subs in a match, two of the EPL most elite coaches have reacted to the news... The two respected coaches have accused the governing body of making a mistake by not allowing five changes per game. Klopp feels the Premier League showed a 'lack of leadership' with their decision to cut back on substitutes because of the packed schedules several teams were going to encounter. Speaking on Friday, Manchester City boss Guardiola echoed Klopp's thoughts, saying there has been "47 per cent more muscular injuries" this year compared to the same stage of the campaign in 2019-20. And the Catalan has added his voice to a growing campaign for the Premier League to rethink the decision to only allow three substitutions per game. What do you think about the reversal to 3subs per match?.. Do u think epl made the right decision?...as the 5subs rule is clearly of advantage to the big clubs.. |

its nonsense na bt the only bad about that 5 sub rule is excess time wasting from winning teams |

They should stop winning. The reverse substitutes rule is for all EPL clubs, it affects everybody too |

Though the big teams have a point, the decision was nevertheless put to a general vote between clubs in England. It therefore show that the revision of the 5 sub rule is generally acceptable to teams in England......if most teams are agree with it, then it should be allowed to stand. |

5 sub is a cheat in football.. Teams with alot of excellent players on the bench will definitely complain just like liverpool and city.. It only favors team big clubs thereby leaving smaller clubs struggling. |

lymelyte:but looking at how tight the match schedules are, they should have just left the 5sub rule for this season...and revert next season... even the smaller clubs would suffer for it coz muscle injuries might increase.. |
