*ANAMBRA POLICE STATION ATTACK: CACI APPEALS FOR DONATIONS.*

Appeals for rebuilding of police Stations, donation of vehicles and gadgets.


Campaign Against Crime Initiative (CACI) has intensified it's Clarion call to well meaning Anambrarians, Philanthropist, Business moguls, Captains of industries, corporate organizations, politicians as well as the general public to rally round the various Divisions of the Nigeria Police which were affected by the attack of brigands, hoodlums and criminal elements who unleashed mayhem on the Nigeria Police during the protest that engulfed the state.


*In a Press Release made available to Newsmen in Awka, Amb Timothy Nwachukwu, The Convener,Campaign Against Crime Initiative commiserated with the Anambra State Police Command over the loss of it's officers and destruction of it's properties and restated that the funding and support for security agencies should not be left for the government alone as security is the duty of every citizen.*


*He further called on spirited individuals, groups, organisation, market leaders and various associations who reside or operate within and outside the State to visit the Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Police and assist in donation of building materials, operational vehicles, communication gadgets as well as other equipment which will boost the morale of the men of the Nigeria Police.*


Meanwhile, According to the Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Police, "The bringands and hoodlums set ablaze eleven (11) Police Stations; burnt over twenty (20) vehicles including patrol & exhibit vehicles and an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC). They also vandalized six (6) other Police Stations and carted away motorcycles kept as exhibits. The Police also lost some rifles during the attacks".


"In the course of these heinous acts, the hoodlums murdered four (4) Police officers including the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Osumenyi Division, CSP Akpan Joseph, ASP Agu Micheal, the Station Officer (SO), Osumenyi Division and a young PC Udegbunam Sunday Celestine leaving two (2) others injured. In their state of callousness, the hoodlums also murdered and beheaded Insp John Oche attached to the Anti- Cult Unit and burnt his body to ashes parading the streets with the deceased policeman’s head. In addition to attacking Police formations, other Government and private facilities such as the Revenue House, Ocha Brigade office and private Trucks loaded with goods were attacked and valuable properties looted".

good..but make una no use this cultism start another face of killing in Anambra ooo....after akwuzu serial killers have been eliminated abi una want do another one..I heard Anambra has the highest numbers of victim in sars brutality..but it was serially done

Police is federal government agency. They should write a letter to that bamboohari in aso rack. He is responsible for equipping that useless and unprofessional police force
