A COALITION of four groups in Anambra state, have faulted those calling for the prosecution of former SARS Commander in the State, CSP James Nwafor as the real enemies of the people

Nwafor, who retired from the Police as a Chief Superintendent of Police, was allegedly linked to many killings during his time as commander of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS in the state.

But four coalition groups in Anambra state, have described the allegation as unfounded, adding that those accusing him were ignorant of what he did in Igbo land

The groups are, Anambra Security Network (ASN), Nnewi Elders Forum (NEF), Awka Consultative Assembly (ACA) and Anambra Traders Union (ATU).

In a statement Saturday on in Awka, the spokesperson for the groups, Chief Simon Okonkwo, said Nwafor even went as far as Abia, Imo, Ebonyi, and Enugu to fish out criminals during his time.

They said without Nwafor, the entire Southeast would have been sacked from their respective states as prominent citizens of the states were not coming home again for fear of being abducted.

“Contrary to Igbo customs and tradition, they were conducting traditional marriages in Abuja, Lagos and other places outside Igbo land where they were residing because of fear of being abducted and killed by suspected kidnappers.

“Most of the people condemning Nwafor lacked knowledge of the dynamics of hunting down criminals,” Okonkwo said.

The groups insisted that Nwafor rescued many prominent persons in the State, who were abducted by kidnapers between 2011 and 2017.

The group mentioned names of prominent Easterners the former SARS commander rescued from the claws of kidnappers in Nnewi, Awka, Onitsha, Ekwulobia, Lagos, Owerri, Port Harcourt and other parts of country.

This is the preamble to burying Nwafor's case. The east sure knows how to defend their own all of the time, but when it comes to Tinubu, you will see them foaming in their mouth out of desperation to say many nonsense in milliseconds.

He may have rescued the state from criminals but he should be made to answer if he committed any criminal act in the process irrespective.

They should just shut up.

The same Nwafor who turned awkuzu sars to a slaughter house and organ harvesting business empire.

Why not bring the criminals for trial in a court of law.

He stopped kidnapping and armed robbery in Anambra! That's is the truth! That is a fact! The SARS group at Awkuzu violently and ruthlessly did these. They were at the forefront during those days of kidnapping and part of the reason why they got away with so much atrocities was because people also saw the work they did in this regard. That said, he was a mass murderer! He killed so carelessly, his name became well known for this around Anambra axis! That group got away with so many murders in that their filthy dungeon, that they started to see themselves as some kind of demigods.. Many stories of people being killed because they couldn't pay up for their release in time. That was evil.

Stopping kidnapping and robbery were part of what James Nwafor was trained and officially paid to do as police officer. He didn't anything spectacular. In fact, what he did is a piece of sh*t compared to what soldiers are doing on battlefields for peanuts.

Aside from chasing criminals, ex-cop James Nwafor killed framed innocent people like somebody possessed by the Angel of death. He served the wicked purposes of some rich men in Anambra State
- to disposess families of their lands,
- to fight and silence those opposing their acts of impunity in their communities,
- to fight the boys of rival millionaires,
- to weaken political opponents,
- etc
Naturally he will sing under pressure and mention names. That would be earthshaking. Those rich men are running from pillar to post to truncate the course of justice. I am not even sure that James Nwafor is still in Nigeria. They will do everything and anything to cover wickedness.
