Tunde Bakare, the then running mate to President Muhammadu Buhari in 2011 election and founder of Citadel Global Church, urge Nigerians to pray for God to deliver President Buhari from bad counsel.

He also stated his intention to contest in the 2023 Presidential election. In an interview on Arise Television, the Pastor made a prayer for God to deliver President Buhari from wicked counsels and counselors who tell him life is sweet and that everything is going fine, without giving him the reports from the streets.

He further stated that without an enduring legacy, it will seem like Buhari came twice – first as military head of state and second as democratically elected president, without much achievements notable to him.
