A Muslim woman Aisha yusuf was one of the leading protesters in the Endsars protest in Nigeria but she was and is still called names. I remember some northern elders saying that protests were not allowed in Islam. But last week, there have been protests about a cartoon in France and Muslims in some countries are protesting. It even spread to Nigeria and I was surprised to see the same people who slammed Aisha yusuf coming out to burn flags. I'm really confused. Is it that there are different types of protests in Islam? Or is it that protests about the welfare and lives of Muslims are forbidden and only protests concerning Allah are allowed?

Honestly, I think these people have a problem. How will you be protesting against "disrespect " of a person who is far away in heaven, and refuse to protest against bad governance? It's just wonderful.

Oga go and sit down. I became a Muslim this year and now I'm an atheist Muslim. I change it for one imam recently who want to chase me out of mosque cool .

Fvck religion. I remain a diligent Muslim brother
