The Global Amnesty Watch (GAW) and some rights groups have accused Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), singers, Falz, Burna Boy, and other celebrities of attempting to create anarchy through fake news, following the recent nationwide #EndSars protest.

The rights groups also alleged that international Non-Governmental Organisations, (NGOs), the founder of Twitter Jack Dorsey, DJ Switch, and the feminist coalition aimed to cause anarchy through false information.
