The believe by many that associate one of Americas presidential candidate to God and believes God supports him, isn't biblical and it will only lead to delusion.
If Jesus were to stand for president in the America of today, he most likely will not win, because Jesus won't prefer some race to the others, fight wars, misuse the resources in the Earth, hoard weapons that can destroy the Earth a thousand times over, ignore the health of the climate, support abortion and gay or allow people carry guns.
God still allows these earthly government obviously, but he does not depend on them or even view them in a positive light. They will soon make way for the kingdom of his dear son.
So please don't shame the God of the Bible by associating him with these people.

The God who created heaven and earth is not a political and does not involve in contesting or any issue that has to do with contest.

He appoints/choose whoever he needs for a certain mission or to oçcupy an office.

Democracy and other elective systems were making of men which mostly contradicts what we've always known about how God manifests the people he use.
