So, you have a job and you are good at your job. You have all the needed skills and talent and you never let a learning opportunity pass you by.

All the work colleagues on your level, can attest to your excellence.

You are confident that soon, you will be recognized by management as well as captains of industry for your hard/smart work.

But, nothing happens

Yet, a certain colleague of yours gets all the accolades. S/he is recognized by all and sundry, even when you know you're more capable.

Hold on! In this case, you shouldn't blame the other person.

There is a difference between recognition by your colleagues and recognition by decision makers in your company/industry.

Do all you can to show your skills and abilities to the decision makers, and you will not be overlooked for promotions and better work opportunities.

Good luck!
