How can it be used against you? The protesters were peaceful. Rather than used against you, it can be used to your benefit to flee the country and take up asylum, that is in a country that upholds human rights.

I'm not talking about seeking asylum.
I'm talking about people who are currently planning to Japa and are already working on their papers.

I don't think any government would want immigrants who are anti-government. Especially countries with strong ties to Naija

I don't agree with you...So, you mean without the North, Nigeria can't restructure??

Not really but then not carrying them along makes it easier to switch the narrative and make it look like an ethnic war. And it'll be bad

Ok Back to the topic...

If you participated in the #ENDSARS protests and you posted pics or videos on socials pls note that it could be used against you especially if you are interested in migrating abroad to countries with strong relations with Nigeria.

Your SM could be searched and any anti-government posts make you lose points. So better go delete or hide such posts to avoid unnecessary wahala.

2ndly, Nigeria is obviously not ripe for a complete revolution/takeover/reconstruction/breakdown to happen. And the reason is because the Northerners are passive about the movement.

I believe true breakdown will only happen when the North champions the movement. Till then we go suffer for 600 years till we reach that elastic limit.

Rich man wey still money we no dey see their face for Crime Fighter.. angry

I know Mass action can be unpredictable esp with the introduction of the Internet.

But you need to understand that what the Nigerian youth is doing in the real sense of it is an ANTI-GOVERNMENT PROTESTS which could lead to a complete upheaval in govt.

If you want to do a political takeover you have to understand what it is. And do so correctly.

What tactical provisions do you have for physical protection and international support Incase push comes to shove?

The funny thing is the majority of the Youth are yet to realize what exactly it is the protests was all about.

It is about breaking down Nigeria and the longer it takes you to understand it the worse it gets.

You can't dabble into power tussle in a 3rd World Country and expect the government to shake hands with you and sign a paper.

You'll most likely get shot in the back of the head point-blank range

If the North don't join they'll be left behind like you said. But at what cost?

A bloody war against the East again?
Nahh. We need more suffering. It's a good thing the West championed the #Endsars movement.

The Nigeria you seek CANNOT be achieved by our generation. Nah.

We are not yet neck deep into pains and suffering. Only when we reach that breaking point the division will be achieved. But for now, when Master passes by. We genuflect in respect and silently fart to show our disgust.

I get your point, but just so you know - some of us in the north loathi this government

How can the government say on the one hand that they understand the greviances of the youth, and they are addressing the issues and then turn around to start witch-hunting the perceived leaders of the protests? This is pure dishonesty!
The government is asking for another round of protests.

OK. Go out and protest/riot. They are waiting for you.

Revolution is not as hard as you think it is.
If that's what you and ur cohorts are using to give urselves false sense of security then I pity you.
Change in price of flour led to the Arab spring. Revolution is triggered by anything. It's not about planning or making chess moves, it's about people feeling affected by a common cause.
Most of those who joined Endsars are not even affected by police brutality. Same with those who later burned police stations and looted shops. The underlying theme holding them all together was not police brutality. It was hunger and frustration about the hopeless situation of the country.
Get that salient fact straight!!

You missed the most important bit. Conviction, conviction, conviction.

And reaching out, reaching out, reaching out.

That's how a national movement ended up being a Southern movement.

You failed to convince the North it was in their interest to protest.

Mind you I am not opposed to your movement. I am just tired of Nigerians making the same mistakes in their revolutions over and over again.

The first coupists meant well. They were idealista who had ideas and vision

But they forgot they were dealing with Nigerians and working in a Nigerian situation.

Thats why.their coup failed. Once they were percieved as a threat to people's access to the national cake.

It is also a part of why ironsi fell too.

Stop lying to yourself. It doesn't make sense when you only mean well when the power is not in your hands. The nonsense they did in the short term they had power is what has put us in this mess. Check the history. Atleast each region were "doing well" for themselves before the greedy coup.
