Useless governor, hotel wey another person build you dey snap pictures because you "renovated" it with your primary school construction workers as usual.

Hotels, resorts and real estate are not drivers of economic growth. In fact, they are key causes of inflation.

A country with little to no industrialisation tinkers with failure.

This cheap nonsense is a waste. When will governors start thinking of heavy-duty industries, factories, foundries, mining etc? undecided

Oh sorry, ordinary road, them never fit do. Abia governor yesterday was crying out for the state of his own roads.

Sincerely bro, Nigeria needs change her constitution bro. If u check history, industries came up more under regional based constitution. The current constitution is useless to states and regions. Anyone who loves this land, this country must join voice to call for a return to regional based constitution with slight modifications.

My friend it's not always about industries, tourism is big business, there are countries that their economy depends mostly on tourism

I've always argued we had better focus, better coordination and better delivery on industrialisation under the former regional arrangement! Then, the Premier of the region could plan for the entire region and harness each parts comparative advantage for better results!

I just knew before clicking on the thread that there wouldn't be much done besides a few cosmetic changes! Better news would be the opening of a remodelled and upgraded Presidential Hotel and the opening of the conference centre at Independence layout that's been left to rot!
