You can save hose by using clips instead of rubber for hose-to-pipe connection. You will just need 5-7cm of hose to overlap with the pipe and 2 clips. No matter the pressure, it will hold.

truthfully! Have never seeing where well is use as source of water to irrigate farm but have heard many saying they use it. Some even say "they use normal 3hp" I will appreciate contribution of our people here!

if you put your reservoir and borehole in a strategic spot inside the farm, and divide the farm to like 5k stand each, I think you should be able to run 5-7 acres successfully at least.

It can be used for well. But the water must not be too deep or else it wont work. There is a maximum depth for the suction pipe. Beyond that the pump wont suck up water.

I just check my pump, the max suction head is 8 meters. So the well water must not be deeper than that.

I don't know or understand the motive behind irrigating cocoyam and plantain because dry season cannot kill both, if it is cocoa now I understand. If you must! Then rain gun will be more efficient and economical.

How do u deal with muddy water from stream when the rain starts, at my place i can tell rains have started in far away places by the muddiness of my water , it might rain for weeks in other location while my location might need watering but the stream i use would be extremely muddy..... how do u deal with muddy streams

it seems you have ask similar questions along time go and buy filter! So dirty will not clog your emitter.
