Just like every religion has a church which they operate under, and they also have members which attend the church, same happens to the church of Satan. The church of Satan is a religious organisation, which call themselves satanists. The surprising aspect is that they do not worship Satan, but they have their own god and deities.


The church is made up of atheists, who don’t believe in God all mighty. The church was created by a man called Anton Szander Lavey, in the year 1966. He was also known as the black pope, by his members. Anton Szander said his main reason for starting the church, was because he was tired of the Christians, who are hypocrites. He said a man would claim to worship God, but on Saturday night you would see him lusting after a lady at the carnival. After that, he would go to church on a Sunday, and play the church instruments and sing songs.

Before he opened the church, he was already into occultic works as early as 16 years old. After he created the church, many branches were created all over the United States. He died in the year 1997.



The church of Satan has so many rules, and they include the following:

1. They perform magic and not human sacrifices. They believe in magic, and many people think it’s demonic but they say magic is something that scientist have not discovered, or they are not familiar about the existence.

2. Using hard drugs is not allowed in the church of Satan......(....)
