Bro I graduated with a Marine engineering degree. Only 52 German universities offer English computer science masters programs. I mailed like 41 so far and I have only had positive responses from like 3. The 3 universities I had responses from the students are saying that the universities don't admit anyone into their postgraduate without computer science degrees. I already know how to code but I really wanna go deep into the field. It's not really easy switching to computer science from an unrelated Bachelors. There are core computer science courses taken at undergraduate. Discrete mathematics, data structures and algorithms, database and system design and these courses are built upon at the graduate Level. Some universities offer pre reqs but most do not. A nairalander showed me a Czech university so there's a bit of hope. Marine is like mechanical engineering but with specialisation on ships and offshore structures.

A Yoruba graduate who goes into research, movies, transcripting, journalism, if he/she has a passion for it would do exploits beyond comprehension.

You don’t need a degree in Yoruba to do what you mentioned above is my point.

Think of it this way, you can enjoy the work of Yoruba actor even if he doesn’t have a Yoruba degree. The degree is irrelevant to that profession.

But you fall sick or need an operation and when you get to the hospital the doctor tells you he never actually went to medical school. Tell me you won’t run out of that hospital as fast as your legs can.

The point is some degrees are highly consequential to the actual profession. While some are not at all. I personally don’t think I needed a business degree to be as good as I am at my business today.

School na scam depends on the course O. Even some engineering courses nowadays are scam. Look at the thread and notice the courses. I bet someone with a petroleum engineering BSC MSC and PhD won't qualify for the visa. The world is changing fast and we are in a new age.
