Gory Tales of Deceit

We are tales of words lost in dungeons of sheer deceit
We are spent flames of rickety twigs
We are songs.. No, snores
on the beak of unclean birds
We are gloomy walls wanton men spits on

We are tears ill luck swims in
with searing splashes left on the cheeks of history
We are faith that broke on the palms of fate
We are flowers harbouring nectars of pain stung by tricky butterflies
We are the torn pieces of pisces wearing on our faces worn peace

We are the lamentations between the teeth of horror
We are knocked dumb
We are numb to a lot
We are ones that mourn that still
we were made steel...

We were made children
we promised our mothers never to be.
