But seriously anything that's merit based the quota system people don't fair well. You see Igbos dominating the NBA, yorubas breeding talents in the premier league. Those other people will be waiting for buhari to submit names of their people in international sports lmao

Colleges (University). The NCAA Division I is the university league where most of them are drafted from. Some can be drafted from High School but the NBA stopped it a while back to let players develop mentally, physically and skill-wise before entering into the challenging league.

Most of these guys where born in America to parents of both Nigerian origin or one of them, except for Achiuwa and Azubuike (who I saw grow up, learning this sport).

Non-american Europeans are either drafted from their European leagues or its academies (like you have in soccer).
