This makes me remember when I saw my WAEC result, and a little bit fairer than my mates and elders.
I expected my parents to reward me with fairer treatment and overlook all my subsequent offenses if I couldn’t get any material or cash reward from them.
But they didn’t.

I asked my dad why they didn’t give me lovely reward for achieving that feat.
He replied, “who did you think the achievement was for”?
He said the achievement was for myself and not for him or anyone else.
