What are you talking about? Archbishop Obinna is a revered Bishop of the Catholic Church in Owerri. Aba and Obigbo falls under his eclesiastical province. He is only setting the records straight so that mischeif makers won't be decieving unsuspecting public.

Obigbo was forcefully renamed without the consent of the indigenous Ndoki Igbos that own the place (it has nothing to do with Ikwerre). It was done after the civil war as the Fulani controlled central government liased with the then Ijaw dominated Rivers State. Since then, they've been using scorched earth policies to discriminate the Obigbo people while trying fruitlessly to force them into denying being Igbos. The people since time Imo River wears their Igbo heritage identity like a batch of honor and will forever align with us from the SE.

Obigbo will never be in any other country except where Igbos go in the event of Nigeria breaking up and we will be 101% ready to go to war with any bastard country that would want to claim Obigbo. I'm happy they're not like the efulefus that shamelessly deny their roots, so it makes it very easy for us to defend and protect them whenever push comes to shove.

The fact that it lies about 10 minutes away from P.H is even a huge advantage for us to invade and deal decisively with the minorities if they try nonsense.

The 5 SE states as well as 4 SS states namely Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River used to be under the jurisdiction of Enugu until regional form of governance was disbanded.

The area in question are ethnic Igbo. They used to be under the East Central state, later old Imo State until an arbitrary boundary demarcation put them in Rivers State, now how does ill-advised boundary adjustment now translate to they're no longer Igbos?
