and to follow the teachings of Bible (old Testament) for the people of scripture in it,

Jesus is friend of sinners so why wont u relate with them? Beside we all serve one GOD(personal view) What took you to work place is not religion. U are there to share a comon goal which is ur work and not religion. If you dont relate with them you wil get punished, remeber it is ur job to bring them to salvation.

Your mom primary duty as a Christian is that you have been commissioned preach the gospel and draw men unto him.

It is not about the religion, it is about how you bring and approach it to people. A timeless Bible that is created to inspire you to spread God's messages of hope and love has been turn upside down to promote propergander, for cursing enemies and friend, for extortion. Respect them and their beliefs for whom they are and not try to condeme them or try shoving your belief on them. If they see you have a good perception they will relate well with you. Simple
They won't read this. The worst kind of believers are those who see you with make up, earrings, grousers and with and then they start telling you that those things for from the Marine kingdom. Most of them condemn you from afar without even knowing whether you are a beli we of not.
That was how one preached in a bus a I was in and instead of preaching love, repentance, he preached hell. He said those wearing jewelries,women wearing trousers and wearing hair extensions and make up will all go to hell. That those things are from the marrine kingdom.
That's day I wasn't wearing trousers and I was on low cut without a wig on. But his preaching was that of condemnation not salvation.
I could help but asked him a question that shut him up.
I said " oga, are you telling me that God himself gave you these trousers and shirt you are wearing? How did you know they are not from the Marine kingdom since you brought it from the market the same way those who wear those things to prea he's against buy theirs? The man shock and didn't know what to say.
I told him he's not the only one who can read the Bible.

I'm sure I'm his mind he would rebuke me.

For me you are either a Christian or not. If you like sleep in church and persform all sorts of miracles, if you are a Christian, you don't need to become born again.
Christ said it that on the last day so many will ay the healed and preached in his name. He will tell them depart from me you workers of iniquity.

You're deliver misquoting those scriptures. The Bible actually condemns slavery. What you're calling slavery here is indentured servitude.
Indentured servitude is when someone becomes a servant of someone else in order to pay off a large debt which he owes to that person.
Actually slavery as you define it in your post is unlawful and punishable with death. In fact scripture forbids it:

It's not about scared . it's best we cut ties with unbelievers. if you're not careful and strong in Christ , they could bring you back to sins and unholy life. We can only show to them the love of God or try converting them to Christains .
