*MAKE STUDENTS' FRIENDLY DECISIONS NOW, NANS TELL RUGIPO MANAGEMENT*

We humbly write from the Apex of the students' body in the Nation as regards the lingering challenges facing students in Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo.

A man of wisdom wrote," The man dies in him who keep mute in the face of tyranny".
As a union that is dedicated to the welfarism of her students, we will never keep mute even as the smooth running of academic pursuit of students is been geopardize through unfriendly decisions.

We are much aware of the increment in payable fee for collection of certificate, setting quick deadline for payment of the exorbitant tuition fee and many more, and we cannot afford to keep mute at this time.

We are much aware that the delay in the student union election is because of unfriendly decisions like this, as we've heard numerous cries of students from different angles, and we stand against any form of oppression.

If the government is underfunding the institution, the students shouldn't be at the receiving end, rather, the management should take their grievance to the government and not victimize students.

A student friendly management should see beyond making obsessed decision at this era of hardship in the Nation coupled with covid'19 challenges, and device a means of making the environment Serene and accommodating for students and not make decisions that will make students drop out of their educational pursuit.

Therefore, we demand for the reversal of the increment or face NANS mass action against the management of the institution as we will never tolerate any form of oppression against the students from anybody whosoever.

Our notion is born out of good stewardship to our students and it is important that the management of the said institution see themselves as parent and reverse their initial decision.

We so much believe our open letter would be considered as we strongly believe in the first C of Aluta which is consultation, and we won't hesitate confrontation if adamant to our request.

Dare to struggle!
Dare to win.
