Permanent- Farm Manager Role in Epe Local Government Lagos Nigeria
Attractive package, salary between N40,000 – N50,000 PCM, depending on experience.
A 1-acre farm in Epe countryside, home to beautiful clean Cat fish farm with large visions of expanding our livestock, quality and welfare at the heart of the business.

Job description:
Farm Manager will be responsible for the daily supervision, reporting, planning, organisation and administration of activities as well as facilitating the directors’ vision on the farm estates, responsibilities will including but not limited to:
• Forward farm planning
• Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of farm progress and livestock to directors
• Policy making
• Budgeting and maintaining accurate financial records
• Develop, manage and monitoring feeds system
• Observing fish for signs of illness, injury and giving medication when necessary
• Performing facility maintenance and managing a team
• Checking for proper environment of water and temperature conditions
• Assisting with reproduction
• Performing Sorting
• Coordinating maintenance and making of new ponds
• Reducing wastage
• Identifying dead fish immediately removing them
• Working with specialist when need arises
• Organising sales purchases of livestock and farm equipment
• Handling paperwork and keeping administrative records
• Training, coaching, Instructing and supervising farm workers
• Ensuring that ground work progresses adequately, whilst reporting to supervisor/CEO
• Ensuring compliance with government regulations, health and safety standards
• Keep and up to date knowledge of fish farming
• Organising maintenance/repair of the property, equipment and machinery
Variations in workload relates to seasonal demands- some unsociable hours may be necessary during busy periods,
Mangers will be expected to deal with emergencies and work long hours






The Ideal Candidate will:

• Hold at least a foundation degree

• Pervious experience of fish farming

• Analytical skills
• Lives close to Epe farm
• Relevant fish experience
• Ability to manage and coach team
• Commercial Awareness
• Very high fish farm welfare standards
• Livestock management
• Excellent communicator and people skills
• Team player
• IT and Commercial awareness

Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary N40,000 – N50 PCM
• Expenses
• 21 days annual holiday after a year of continuous service
