The Lagos State Government by now should have a copy of the audio where the leader of IPOB called for the burning of Lagos. In his own words, he charged his IPOB members to "burn down everything " and went further to mention specific places that strangely got burnt in the arson the governor has confirmed is a "coordinated arson"


The Lagos State Government should as a matter of urgency begin it's investigation into the nexus behind this direct command the IPOB leader gave his members and the subsequent coordinated arson.



Many Lagosians are not comfortable with the way the governor has not directly said anything about this audio calling for the burning of his city.


The government is empowered by Law to prosecute the leader of IPOB and scale it up by petitioning ICC, EU , Interpol,USA and other international agencies to extradite him to Lagos for proper investigation and possibly trial.


The danger in not prosecuting the IPOB leader is that other person will do same another day and Get away with it.
There is also the issue of properly resolving the accusation that IPOB was behind the coordinated arson in Lagos.
