Talented movie maker, Titi Jeje is set to hit the location with another Historical Movie‘Agbekoya’. This was revealed during a media press conference that was held on Friday, 20th November at Sky Pavilion Oke Ilewo Abeokuta. His decision to shoot the movie Agbekoya was bore out from a real life story which happened so many years back in Ila Orogun, Osun State Southwest Nigeria.

In his welcome speech during the media parley conference,

“I’m so happy to have you guys on board, I can’t wait to show the world this master piece we are about to create as you all know that we are always out here to ‘ Change the Narrative.”

“I say a big congratulations to everyone present here, because we are about to become a part of a revolutionary history, not only in Nigeria; but also the world at large. On behalf of all of us at Hills Media, I welcome you all” says Titi Jeje.



Before now, folktales of great men who have been adorn and sometimes criticised impacts, as the case maybe, have been told. These are likes of :Bashorun Gaa, Efunsetan Aniwura, Agbongboakala and many other historical movies.



For several reasons, the award winning Filmmaker have decided to tell the story of a great man from a small village in the South West Region of Nigeria. This explains why the whole cast and crew are particularly excited about this project.

In his words the young Filmmaker feels overtime, we need to realised the needs and importance to tell our own history and to protect the already told stories. The understanding of our history and heritage will in turn give us better understanding of the world` s history.

As mentioned, these great men and women are legends in the Yoruba Kingdom who have made remarkable chronicles. Some are recognised and celebrated, some are not. This is why it has become extremely imperative to tell our audience the (one) they’ve not heard about but are of possible existence
A whole lot of deep, cautioned and well considered researches have gone into this project, the movie Agbekoya.

Thorough research was conducted and information were garned directly from the relevant thought. All source put together as expected. Agbekoya the movie storyline has a remarkably pen out in ‘ Third Person Omniscient ‘ , meaning we have vast and convincing knowledge of what we are giving out to the World. The story research was out together with details.



The movie Agbekoya is plotted to tell the story of a powerful and influential man who was known for his undisputed powers, honesty, diplomacy and inestimable act of kindness in his community, but quite unfortunate with his first Daughter who was a pain in his life. He was loved and respected by all and sundry. He condemned crookedness, criminality and would never be a party to that which might bring any harm to his people.


Agbekoya will educate us all about his life, his immediate family, his relationship with his friends and the community where he lived, his weakness and the cause of his eventual tragedy.

Does Agbekoya has anything to do with the popular story of Agbekoya? But the Producer/Director of the project, TITI JEJE further revealed during the media chat that as the name implies, AGBEKOYA, is the act of living to reject suffering, the significance of this name will resonate in your mind and a thoughts from the beginning of this movie to the end.

THE CAST


All the cast selected for the project are professionals, who are respected and known for being the best in their Craft. The cast includes:
Olaiya Igwe, Opeyemi Aiyeola, Adewale Alebiosun, Damola Olatunji, Ronke Odusanya, Tayo Amokade ( Ijebu ), Juliet Jatto, Olu Micheal, Richard Lavida, Saheed Bayonle, Bimbo Adebayo, Bakare Zainab, Khadijat Ayoade and many more.


Also featuring will be some of thee H factor students which comprises of Ogunremi Adejoke, Akinyemi Oreoluwa, Adeniran Tounse, Damola Ogunpola, Sowenikun Tabitha
Oluwole Tobiloba, Tomiwa Obigbesan.


THE CREW
All the crew member choosen to work on this project are undoubtedly exceptional and diligently up for the task. The Project will be cordinated by MDL Studios who is known for his professionalism and time conciousness. While the Production Management task has been saddled with Comrade Owolabi Ajasa the current Governor of TAMPAN Ogun State. Also, the Project Artistic designed will be cordinated by Saheed Bayonle while Azeez Babatunde Cisse will take the mantle of Director of Photography.

Titi Jeje is one of the few respected and exceptional Directors in the Nollywood Industry, who is well known for his ability to focus and pay careful attention to even the smallest details in movies directed.


His dynamism and professionalism he brought into the industry is incomparable, he is a man whose solely aim and strive is to Change the Narrative in the industry.

In a short while, he has groomed successful film makers through his Media School, Hills Media.

He is taking charge as the Producer and Director of AGBEKOYA.
