D sense, seems u dont know that without the western powers stepping in, the civilians of benghazi and others pushing to overthrow ghadafi will be all dead soon. The US is only protecting the civilians. Besides they didnt deploy any ground troops. |

Since the people of Libya are helpless and stuck, they rely on foreign nations for help. It's against human rights to systematically kill peaceful protesters who are fairly and plainly trying to liberate themselves and their community also known as the quest for freedom. . . It's the same reason the American troops captured Saddam Hussein 3 years ago when he killed and bombed a whole village just because he believed that was their stronghold. |

Mama Gee There have been problems in Zimbabwe, Sudan and Ivory Coast, so many have lost their lives in these countries and what did the so called Westerners do to save the citizens, aboslutely notin. Just a few months of unrest in Libya and they are all over the whole place like a bunch of bees, what do you think that made them to interfer if not for some selfish reasons. Do you think that these westerners care so much about Africans or Arabs? They are just there because of oil deals, hence they have not ousted Mugabe because there is nothing up for grabs there. It's been proven that 10,000 civilians have been killed by Gadhafi's forces since the Feb 17th protests in Libya and he even promised to kill more on Saturday in Benghazi but all thanks to the UN acting quickly and passing the No Fly Zone. When a tyrant is defiant on stepping down after 4 decades of rule and instead chooses to kill innocent people protesting for a better future in their country and then threatens to attack and kill them all with no mercy, it's up to the international community to stop this blood thirsty psychopath. You don't expect World leaders to turn their backs on men, women and children that are being slaughtered just because it's a different country. . . We are all human beings and no one has the right to kill the masses just to stay in power instead of some kind of political negotiation. It's inhumane, cruel and unjustifiable to ignore the plea of the Libyan people and people in general despite their nationality and citizenship who may be looking unto us to save them from one madman. And the Libyan people aren't complaining as you can see they are all happy and celebrating everytime the U.S. and its allies strike a missile. Now, do you get it, daft? |

@OP Those who merely infatuated with the sense to overthrow the government of USA with force or mere demonstration were wiped out of surface of the earth. Why should those who attempted to overthrow the government of Libya allowed to live? The military attack on Libya without strong comment from the so-called AU (African Union) against the wanton behavior of colonialists is one of the reason I entertain regrets of bring born African. I can not destroy my scrotum along with the tsetse fly simply because the blood sucking fly perched on it.
