The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has reached an agreement with the Federal Government to call of its eight-month prolonged strike, which has grounded academic activities in public universities across the country.

Newsrand learnt that the union leadership reached the consensus during a meeting with the government team led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, in the late hours of Friday, November 27, 2020.
