FirstBank has launched a Contactless ATM to prevent any form of physical interaction with the machine as COVID-19 cases surging.

The Contactless ATM, a Next-Generation ATM and first of its kind in Africa, is designed in the light of COVID-19, to enable customers to carry out cash withdrawals without having to touch the interface of the ATM.

According to the management of the bank, Contactless ATM, which is done in partnership with Inlaks, is the Bank’s response to control the spread of COVID-19, whilst promoting the safety of customers that carry out transactions at the ATM.
