Rohr does not have any business being the coach of the Super Eagles. After spending years coaching the Nigerian team, he couldn't assemble a standard first eleven. Nigeria has been rebuilding its national team since time immemorial abi dem no dey finish the rebuilding ni Rohr lacks technical know how and in depth analysis as a coach to succed with the super eagles, our outing at the world and nations cup is a testifier that Rohr is not fit to lead the eagles to winning any major trophy... All these nonsense suggestions holds no water. Until you give him the coaching job, you wouldn't know how out of touch the suggestion is. What is affecting Nigeria is the same problems it has in all spheres of its economy. In Agriculture, in manufacturing, in sports, in Education etc. We do not have a standard league and we want to do magic. The world of today is no more the world of 1994 when super eagles did well in sports. Have you ever wondered why Europe has won world cups for the past how many years? And which country wins it. Check their home leagues. Nigeria league is useless. Our players in Europe are either playing nonsense clubs or are bench warmers. Where do you want the miracle to come from? robosky02: The only natural midfielder on this list is Etebo, and he is not even an "attacking" midfielder, he functions better in a double pivot, where he is a holding midfielder-basically he was a perfect replacement for Onazi, who replaced Sunday Oliseh. (the rest are all forwards)... and that's Okocha"s point. A classic example of a natural attacking midfielder is Bruno Fernandes of Portugal/Man U, Kevin De Bruyne of Belgium/man City or Mesut Ozil of Germany, these are midfielders who are attacking play makers and function best when given a creative free role... you get the point right? 3 Likes |
