The paradox of education in Nigeria. Best graduating student was given N10,000.00 what an Insult. Why not dash them the money to develop the university?

While the once opening their ass to the world via Big brother naija went home with #85,000,000.00 plus other incentive

Abeg who need education for Nigeria

Oga those businesses are not Charity organisations. They are businesses who are in business to make profit. Until u ppl start showing interests in educational programs (Spelling Bees, Quiz and Maths competitions) d say way u show interests to non educational ones (BBN, The Voice, Ultimate Search, etc) then these corporate bodies will leverage on that interest and viewership

Having a 4.9CGPA or first class whatever shows you’re not practical in nature... you’re purely garbage in garbage out.
And nobody owes you a dime for not diversifying your brain power while in school

BBnaija ain't a charity organisation. Having those contestants generated billions for the organisers.

Yeah no body owes you... but saying having a very high grade means you're not practical in nature is rubbish.

Until you come to terms with the fact that entertainment get handsomely rewarded in Naija, you will continue to worry yourself needlessly.

10k is too small, 500k would have been reasonable.
BTW don't compare BBN winner to best graduating student(BGS). BBN brings so much cash into the industry in few weeks while that student brought peanut called tuition fee, BGS probably didn't spend more than 600k in the school but BBN winner will bring up to N20m.
Why then will they take the same amount. Life is not about school o, but about education.
BBN winner will be known by so many people and if u make him ambassador, he is capable of drawing huge money to ur company. They are already a brand
Who knows BGS except her course mates and her HOD

It's up to you to make your education count, that's why parents should let their children go study something lucrative they got passion for
