I said it here on Nairaland that APC has no case against Obasike. This is just the beginning of APC loses . The Judiciary is the last hope of the common man. The ruling is a victory to democracy Im glad the court dismissed the suit. God bless Obasike God bless our judiciary. Congrats to the peoples governor. Edo no be Lagos. |

fergie001:it is the simplest case. Buhari used his weac, ayade used his weac, not his degree. If obaseki had used his weac, even if he has nine f9 like adeleke, nobody will challenged him. Obaseki presented two different certificate to inec. 3 Likes |

fergie001:that would have be obaseki biggest mistake if he had submitted the forged affidavit of 2016. We were expecting him to make the mistake, But either way, he will still lose the case. |

Mylove55:You will need more than a miracle and Federal backing to accomplish that. Worse cases have gone....ask Ayade, Lalong & Abiodun. |

Mylove55:Ayade wasn't waec but age. His UG bio-data at UI was 1966 He submitted on cf001 that it was 1969 He submitted birth certificate as 1968 He was cleared on age falsification. The case was that he submitted a false affidavit in aid of his qualification. The Court said whether 66, 68 or 69.......it wasn't in aid of his qualification because he was above 35 in all. 2 Likes |

fergie001: I think if Obaseki submit only the SSCE then APC is just wasting their time and resources. But if he mistakenly submitted all those controversial documents then there might be problem for him. Remember the case in Bayelsa where the APC deputy candidate submitted not only the SSCE but other documents. 2 Likes |

fergie001:yes you're right. But ayade case is very far from obaseki case, I'm not sure if obaseki presented weac result, because his ssce is 1973 and degree is 1976 according to 2016 forged affidavit. But obaseki told UI to claim 1979. His weac result will determine if it is 1976 or 1979. Obaseki told us his weac certificate was burnt. The case tie k-leg for obaseki. 1 Like |

Re: Court Dismisses Obaseki’s Application Seeking To Stop 'Forged Certificate' Case by fergie001: 10:24pm On Dec 02, 2020 |
Mylove55:What he submitted in 2020 shows that his SSCE was 1973, he attended the Institute of Continuing Education (74-76), degree (79) www.nairaland.com/attachments/11690567_20e151f46e9_jpegada6909a2c30063a5683650eff824241 I am arguing "in aid of his qualification", how does a supposedly forged UI Certificate aid his qualification when he needs Primary School plus recognition? To say Obaseki told UI to say 1979 is an indictment on that Institution. For a school like University of Ibadan.....Please, don't say that. 1 Like |
