InBranded is a company that provides tools to build awareness and enhance user engagement. We currently have two products: 1. GetDp a platform that allows people create personalized badges for events, campaigns, brands 2. InBranded, a SAAS platform tailored to business that enables creating custom badges and campaigns etc, it also enables integration with our services. As such, we are looking for a backend developer that would be responsible for managing and building new capabilities into our server side architecture.

Responsibilities:
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
Troubleshoot and debug applications.
Perform tests to optimize performance.
Design, develop and document API and specifications.
Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic.
Gather and address technical and design requirements.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features.


Requirements
Must be available to work between 8am and 3pm(EST) - 2pm - 9pm(WAT).
Must be able to work remotely without supervision.
Proven work experience as a Back-end developer.
Understanding of release/version management with tools like Git.
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
Strong experience with server stacks like LAMP, LEMP, MEAN.
Understanding of Object Oriented Programming, Microservice and API architecture.
Strong experience with database applications(eg MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDb).
Familiarity with front-end languages(HTML, CSS and JavaScript).
Excellent analytical and time management skills.
Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.
Working knowledge of CMS frameworks like WordPress is a huge plus.
Experience with server & client side image manipulation is a huge plus.
