ENDSARS: IGP ORDERS INVESTIGATIONS INTO ALLEGED SUIT TOUCHING ON STATES’ JUDICIAL PANEL OF INQUIRY

The Inspector General of Police, IGP M.A Adamu, NPM, mni has directed immediate investigations into a suit purportedly challenging the legality of the States’ Judicial Panel of Inquiry, investigating allegations by citizens against officers of the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

The IGP, who gave the order on the heels of trending reports in the media, today 3rd December, 2020, expressed the disapproval of the Force Management Team on the matter and ordered investigations into the alleged role of the Force Legal Section including its Head. Meanwhile, the Force Legal Officer has been queried and may face further sanctions if found guilty of dereliction of duty.

The IGP reiterates the commitment of the Force to fulfilling all its obligations with regards to the disbandment of the defunct SARS, the ongoing Judicial Panels and all other police reforms.

You can imagine this country, IGP the whole head of the police force is allegedly not aware of the law suit same way our president is not always aware of anything under his nose, nothing is just not in order in this country

Whoever believes this fable that the IGP is not aware of the court case needs an urgent space at Yaba Left. Nothing happens in the chain of command of the NPF that, he isn't aware of he is only trying to save his head due to the backlash it has received from the masses.

Truth be told there are some powerful forces fighting against this man in the police force. I think he is the least respected IG in history. They hardly obey his orders or carry him along. Do you know that after he disbanded sars for the fourth time in October, he said they should report to HQ but none of them did... When General Garba stated that IGP has lost command and control of the Police Frank Mbah was quick to castigate him, but all indices show that he is correct.
Do you know that SARS office in Abuja is back to normal business, I know because we just spent N50K to bail a neighbour over a case between him and his boss who invited SARS.
