Jollof rice originates from the wollof people of SeneGambia. It is called Benechin there. Its the white people that came up with the word *Jollof* Cause they could not be bothered to just call them wolof. There is also the fish benechin called Ceebu jen They also have a dish called yassa( can be fish or meat) and can also be hot an spicy. *runs out* |
