You should be ashamed to even tell them that. If a graduate like you earns such, what kind of hope are you projecting to your pupils? Some of them will even lose hope on education entirely. Please leave that school asap! Your mumu don do!

The headmaster wasn't very formal in engaging the OP for whatever reason.

OP was excited, desperate or overwhelmed and this buckled under continuous postponement of the discussions that would settle his reward.

The school is very small and their cashflow is rather poor. 100 students with perhaps 20 being paying students. This is most likely the situation.

Most times it is better to have the complete facts before jumping to conclude based only on a one sided perspective.

Sure, the student number may not be too encouraging, especially considering the region (not trying to be little the region).

Some people commenting might be doing that, from the point of view of most southern schools and the population of such schools.
