pls i applied for a job late February and i was mailed back and given the role of Guest room attendant, and also letter of appointment was sent to me the claimed the name of the hotel is seabourn yatch hotel london. also they promised to sponsor all my travel documents. did anyone know anything about them?

No recruitment will ask you to pay money in advance. They will take their "whatever" cut on your first pay check.
If that's how its done in 9ja then simply google for this hotel then call the HOUR dept to know if its real or not. Beware, even if you call and they say yes, it could be a scam, check their website, ask for the persons name and MAKE SURE ITS A LAND NUMBER.

What's their website? How does it look? Don't they have a landline? Etc If they aint got one then its definitely a scam!

NOTE , No serious recruitment agency will free email address hotmail.
Do you know their contact address? is it verifiable?
