Got my Edifier X5 today.

Same issue.

I went to different forums and posted for help.

Only one person on a forum helped me try to trace where the issue comes from.

I just wanted to post the results of an experiment I ran this evening.

So here are the results of the test I just ran.

I took a fourth device. A Xiaomi Redmi 9C which runs android 10.

1. I connect the Earbuds and make a call and I can't hear anything. Then I press the volume down key and I hear the ringing.

2. I switch to my Infinix Zero 6 and I make a call and I can hear the ringing. I press the volume down key and the sound stops.

3. I switch back to the Redmi 9c and repeat step 1, the voice comes back.

4. I connect to the Zinox Zpad 7 (Second device in original post) and it works. I press the volume down button and the volume up button and it still works.

5. I repeat step 2, same result.

Guy maybe you should try download ( Edifier connect app ) on Google play store it might help you out.

Please...y'all help out...
My air pod pro only connects one ear at a time, that is, I can't connect both ears same time together...tried possible ways I know I can, but still not working

It's the first thing I did with the very first Edifier TWS pro I got and it didn't even detect the device.

I was afraid that it contributed to the problem so I didn't install it again by the time the second set arrived.

I just want a good pair of earbuds with good bass, longer battery life (@least 5 hours) & about 5k.

Learn from my mistakes. I have mild tinnitus today although it doesn't bother me like it used to back then. Thought it'll go away after a few weeks.
It's been 5 years now.
You're better off staying away from loud music as long as possible. Don't put anything in your ear.
If you think it's wax wait till the pain subsides and clean gently, or better yet, go see an ENT doctor.

You see tinnitus, If you get it from messing around with your ears, it's for life. No cure.
